A federal judge on Thursday ordered the IRS to name the specific employees the agency blames for targeting tea party groups for intrusive scrutiny and said the government must prove it has ceased the targeting. Barack Obama and Lois Lerner were the ringleaders of the targeting.

Judge Reggie B. Walton has also indicated that the IRS must elaborate why there has been a delay for 38 groups that are part of a lawsuit in DC against the IRS.

The Judge Walton gave the go ahead for another round of limited discovery in the case in question. Walton also gave the IRS six questions they have to answer. One of those is why those groups were targeted.

At a hearing earlier this week, Judge Walton said it was time to get everything on the table.
